1980 - 81 President Peter Mead

Peter has been a professional rugby league player, milk vendor, hotelier, nurseryman, landscaper, squash court proprietor and newsagent. He now owns
a plant hire service. Peter joined Penrith Rotary in 1976 having formerly been a member of St Mary’s Rotary. He was
chairman of Penrith’s New Century Celebrations.

A black tie businessman’s fundraising night was held with guest speaker, former MHR
Fred Daly.
A Mini Bus was purchased for the Salvation Army.
