Charles was a partner in an Architectural practice in Penrith when he joined Rotary. He later commenced his own practice in Parramatta.

Entrance to the Museum of Fire

During the year the Club, established and refurbished the Fire Museum. Penrith Rotary managed this $680,000 project, by converting the old Power House, supported by the State and Federal Government, the Board of Fire Commissioners and the trustees of the Museum of Fire.

 

 

 

 

 

A bus trip to the Sydney Micro-search centre was arranged.

 

2000 people attended our second Teddy Bears Picnic at Penrith Paceway.

 

The Celebrity Dinner was held at Panthers with Dr Geoffrey Edelstein as speaker.

 

A collapsible wheelchair was donated to the Penrith Community Aid.
