Len is the director in his family’s company, which farms cattle, sheep and wheat in Penrith, Northern NSW and Roma in Queensland. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a licensed pilot and was the first President of the Blue Mountains Grammar Foundation

Polio Plus Programme

During the year, a drug awareness video was shown to School Principals and many schools.

 

Members designed and constructed a wheelchair lift to help a quadriplegic youth.

 

Our Rotary Barbeque was manned for the openings of 2KA Radio Station in Penrith and the Fire Museum.

 

A contribution of $6,843 was made to the successful Rotary’s Polio Plus Programme which stamped out 99% of Polio world wide.

 

A Peer support programme was established in Penrith High School.

 

The club toured the Kingswood RAAF base.
