A former Bank Manager for Westpac, Albert retired in 1985. He served on the Parish Council for St Stephens for many years.

During the year, a duodenoscope and a cot death monitor were given to Nepean Hospital (value twelve thousand dollars).

 

Members assisted spastic children in a visit to the Fire Museum.

 

A joint meeting with Inner Wheel was held, the ladies running the meeting,

 

Two Garage Sales and a food sale at the Panther’s trout fishing day were held.

 

Established by our club, the Penrith City & District Business Advisory Centre was  officially opened by the NSW premier.

 

Members acted as mentors in “Operation Live Wire” to help young people commence a business.

 

The Club sponsored three student teams at the Model United Nations Assembly.
