Together with his father,Bruce, Bob was the owner of Neale’s Furniture. The

firm later became known as “Furniture One” and Bob was it’s Chairman.

During the year, a "Celebrity Dinner" was held with Sir James Hardy being the speaker. 

The profits provided an operating microscope for Nepean Hospital.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Gala Charity Night was held at the Mike Walsh Twin Theatres.

Assistance was given to the Royal Naval Reserve Cadets.

 

Life Saving equipment was donated to the Nepean Rescue Squad.

 

Education was paid for two Indonesian and two Malaysian children.

 

Tours were made to Penrith Police Station and the Clyde Shell Oil Refinery.
