During the Year, assistance was given to the Penrith Boy Scouts Building Programme.The
Rotary Ball was organised in conjunction with the 1st Penrith Scouts and was called the “Camp Fire Ball”. This
arrangement continued until 1954 when the building was completed.
Second–hand clothing was collected and sent to France.
Further assistance was given to flood victims.
Help was given to form a branch of the United Nations Association in Penrith.
